I do the 45° cut like any other clone. I scuff up the stems with a knife edge and also make some small slits before dipping into clone gel. Then threw them into cups of tap water adding fresh tap as needed. Placed them above the stove with that dim stove lamp burning all the time.
I scuff up the stems and make those little slices and I think that makes a difference. I remember as a kid watching my dad rough up n slice rose bush stems the same way. He just threw them in a glass of water and they'd root without gel. I was thinking of that as I did my clones.

It worked well. They don't look to bad. Lost a few lower leaves but they look ready to go back into veg.

Back from being down south. The girls have recovered from their dry spell. I may loose a few small lower growth but nothing serious. They're all praying to the CannaGodz.

I also cut at an angle and use the powder.

The only girl in the house missing her head. I'm still watching this one. It's a Bagseed from a dispensary. So far I'm loving this plant. I've taken a clone of this one as well. If she doesn't spit out bananas in the end I'll keep it.

This is that little plant started into flower at 21 days old. After a long wait she's finally spread out and making some nice bud. A little behind the others but that was expected.

When I got back from Alabama the other night. My first glance at her I bought freaked out. From a distance they looked like they had powdery mildew. I got closer right away and found she's just frosting up real good. I move a lot of air in there but she is pretty thick/dense plant. I usually watch them type for molds.

Anyways, here she is. I think she's coming along just fine so far.

Best way I've found for me was to cut the chunk of plant off I wanted to clone, immediately stick it in a cup of water, and then take the future clones and cut a 45 on the stem and scratch around the cut end. I don't even use rooting stuff. The key is not letting 'em get air for long.

I'm really in a struggle here with this grow. Had I known this catheter was going to be in the mix I would have abandon this grow but it was to far along when all this happened.

I'm getting some issues with 5 plants. I had made an error prior to leaving for our trip. I'm pretty sure I double dosed 5 of them and I'm seeing some possible lock out and overfeeding.

The SugarBlackRose #2 is showing the most. Leaf has turned a faint yellow and I see some calcium spots. Her sister plant is slightly starting the fade as well and the other 3 it's a lot less developed. At this point I can not lift much and squatting is very painful so these girls will not get flushed. They will just have to tough it out and finish. I'll keep feeding them and keep them hydrated at this point. They are 42 days in this pic and haven't changed much since. I think they are making some nice bud so I'm just gonna let them do their thing.

Thanks Jan.. Delicious seed has two varieties of this. One feminized and one that is fast flowering. They say 45-55days with these two. So May sometime. I kept a clone of this one. It has developed way faster than the other SBR. It's a Critical Mass x Durban Poison cross so it should be a nice potent smoke.

Thanks Jan.. Delicious seed has two varieties of this. One feminized and one that is fast flowering. They say 45-55days with these two. So May sometime. I kept a clone of this one. I'm pleased with the clones taken. I've chosen the strongest ones and discarded the others. So I'm left with SBR 1&2, Cornbread, C99#2
It looks like the Cornbread clone has started to unfold the leftover bud. Leaf n stem will appear soon. I've got them under a few t5 strip lamps. I'm keeping the light dim. I don't want them growing fast. I have nowhere to put them till May.

My dispensary Bagseed. By far the strongest plant in the lot of them all. This plant was the first to root out of them all so it is the most mature one. Nonetheless, I'm just impressed with it's growth rate and how beautifully it fills up space both upwards and sideways. It's getting pretty frosty these days. Almost giving off a blue cast in pics. I just hope she don't start kicking our bananas.
