Got something really unusual coming up: Jackfruit trees! Growing them from seeds that I got from a mature jackfruit. Yummy!!

cool the fruit develops from flower in 3 months and they are huge. Green mojo buddy.

Thanks! They do have one slight problem. They smell like rotting onions when they are ripe ...

Jackfruit very tough to grow here in this climate. Only one of them has done well.

I've lost five out of the original six. Just one left, and I have brought it inside because it didn't like the cooler temps. I will be surprised if it makes it through the winter. Oh well, it was just an experiment.

Impossible to grow this in my climate. I took the bedsheet off the greenhouse to get the sun on to my weed and the direct sun even at this time of the year practically did for it in one hour. It's a subtropical rainforest plant really. It recovered but it is getting ridiculous caring for it.
