There has only ever been one school shooting in the UK, in 1996. Gun laws were tightened and there has not been another one since.
Now this doesn't prove anything I guess. Completely different culture over here.
One thing I am sure of. If guns were legal there'd be a lot more murders. It is a lot easier and more removed to shoot someone than to get up close and stab someone to death.
But hey, you do you and all that.
London with legal guns or easier access to illegal ones and things would get pretty f'd up pretty quickly.

I’m sure California is cross checking the medical licenses with the CCW licenses. That’s why I won’t get a medical license here.

An armed society is a polite society. I’m not a fan of violent crime. I enjoy protecting myself and my family. Our 2A is primarily to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government. Of course the government doesn’t like that. More reason to have a weapon or five.

Canada just banned guns and legalized fentanyl from what I understand. The elite are insane and have armed body guards.

I am glad that people there are happy with the way the gun laws are but I bet if you asked them a whole lot of them would want what we Americans have here, If you take Guns from the honest hard working people Only The Criminals Will have Guns.

We are from two different worlds as far as Guns go my friend, Your country has had a gun ban in effect for such a long time it has become the normal way of life there, On the other hand we Americans have always had our guns for hunting, target fun , and protection etc,,,,, I personally have a gun in case I have to deal with a dirtbag breaking into my home in the middle of the night, I have seen how long it takes some police depts to respond to a Burglary in Progress and when they do arrive it is over.

Guns don’t go off and kill people by themselves. They need someone to point them and pull the trigger. The old adage ‘guns don’t kill people. People kill people’ rings true. If guns were a problem, these mass shootings would have been a problem for a very long time. Americans have been armed since, well, since we became Americans. The problem is the mentally ill and the problem has accelerated since Americans began medicating everyone who is having a bad day instead of providing actual mental health care or better yet, parents, friends and family caring for and nurturing the nut cases. Mass shootings are also a way for the coddled and lonely to become infamous and ‘stars for a day’ to those who have never had to overcome the merest slight or admit shortcomings to friends or family or peers. Rap music glorifying gun violence(which at its root is people violence in reality) has given rise to most of the mass shootings so the shooter gets ‘street creed’. The truth of the matter is if guns were the problem, since there a so many guns in America, there would be scenes like we saw in Uvalde and Buffalo many times a day, not sporadically. Anecdotally, I own guns. My kids, wife and friends own guns, and I don’t know a single person who has shot up a school, grocery store, park, mall, or busy street and none of my friends or family know anyone who has either. These shootings are a direct result of how we treat the mentally ill and how these mental cases perceive mass shootings as a vehicle to achieve fame.
If they outlaw our Guns we will still have our Machetes
