First outdoor grow with autos!
Short and fat one on the left is west coast OG and the tall one is Northern lights auto.
I like this outdoor stuff with the free lighting and watering with a hose.
next year I will grow 6 autos at a time and hope the smell isn’t much worse than this grow!
Been a indoor, HPS dirt farmer for a long time.
The OG main cola is chunky and I’m guessing I’ll get 3 zips from it and 5 zips from the NL
the short plant on the far right is AK Auto.
I don’t know if it will have time to finish before the rains begin. Indoor this AK Auto only took 70 days from germ to finish, so I am hopeful it finishes quickly.

Freaking fabulous! My autos are in and out in pots. Hope we get legal here in my lifetime! I like my governor, but he should make legalization a priority. This herb is the answer to so many issues, physically and economically.

My crop may have more weight than I expected. As the tricombs start to turn amber the main colas keeps getting fuller and chunkier. Only time will tell!

I agree with you, the medical benefits are being proven again and again so hopefully it will be legal for you sooner than later.
My medical card allows 6 mature plants at a time and that is enough for my usage. It does make it so I have to do 2 grows a year. (All this use to be done Indoor under HPS before I found autos)
I hope one day I’ll be able to do the one grow a year outdoor with these smaller Autos.

I have consumed a bit more than an oz a week as an average over the last 4 or 5 years personally for my pain management. (And personal recreation usage for 40+ years.) So I am a 2 pound a year consumer. I certainly don’t want to be buying from strangers or the stores to fulfill these medical needs.

So I now have a problem. My outdoor northern lights auto is revenging.
Lot of new pistols but my lower leaves are yellowing.
it’s got to be a genetic problem.
Lot of tricombs but not amber.
I stopped feeding her nutes weeks ago thinking harvest was near.
she grew next to an OG Kush and it’s been harvested and jarred and I got 4 oz off.

I have had this happen indoor due to stress years ago

but thought autos would just finish.
Any suggestions

Fox-tailing not reveg
Leaf look normal for the plant being so late in its life
Sativa plants take longer than Indica plants do

Assuming now that

Genetic photo period plant stayed with the strain and not a true auto?
This is my second grow with autos.
First NL autos but First auto grow went fine but it was also indoor with GDP auto and Zkittles autos.

Yes both of those can lead to fox-tailing as well as genetics.
I have gotten Great smoke from Foxtailing plants

Well that’s awesome news!

And a relief, thanks. I’ll hope for 7 oz+ off her.
Do I start feeding her again?
Her soils is mix of happy frog and amended native soils below that.
I’ll just let her keep putting on weight and hope I get to see some amber.

I hardly ever feed my plants after starting my last 2 week water only period. If you do start feed again you still need a 2 week water only. can make them burn harsh and burn on back of throat when smoked

I found white coated bags that retain water a bit better called patio pots and I added clay pellets on top as a trial.
Seemed to help me with indoor grows anyway.

Bags do dry out fast i have 2 30 Gal and 4 20 Gal and in 24 hours they are bone dry and on hot days i got to give then an afternoon drink.

I generate 20 gal of water a day, 14 gal for my 6 plants and the rest is for other plants we have around the yard. If I did not water 1 day my plants will be drooping down by 3 pm.
