This is my first grow season, using some bag seeds.
This grow will use no fertilizers nutrients etc. just some potting soil, water, love, and sun.
Started in early May
Here is the recap of so far
Germination: I took 2 plates, placed a few sheets of paper towels on a plate, placed 5 seeds on the towels, put more towels on top. Heavily moistened the towels, covered the plate with another plate kinda like a clam. Put a heating pad on top.
i checked on them about 12 hours in, the seeds were cracked with tiny roots showing.
After another 12 hours, 4 of the seeds had half inch roots
After waiting another 12 hours with roots at about an inch, i planted them in paper cups, kept the paper cups near a window. In a few days i had 2 seedlings, in all their 2 leaf glory
The grow so far: After a week of having the seedlings indoors i threw em outside, still in the paper cups.
During the night there was a bad storm, so the only thing on my mind in the morning was  OH GOLLYMY PLANTS! I went out to check on them, and oh man, not a good sight, one of my plants was flooded, with a pool of water on top of the soil. I quickly dug a hole in an empty planter box and threw the soggy plant/soil/root mixture into the hole and went to school anxious to get home and see if it made it.
To my relief when i got home, she was alright, no damage done. I decided i wasnt screwing around with the paper cups anymore, and threw the other plant in the soil.
Nothing really interesting after that, besides growth.:watchplant:
Today June 18th, they are looking good, nice and green. im thinking about a move, as i cant continue to grow the plants in my front yard 50 feet from the road, i have to go on a scouting mission into the woods behind my house, i havent been there recently but, from what i can remeber from last year, there are no good spots that have sunlight, the whole area is all heavily wooded.

Major growth in the recent week :hubba: new pics added:hubba: look down
